Traffic To You Via Split Testing

Traffic To You Via Split Testing

Some Newbie Asked If I was “trying.” My reply was “no I’m doing.” Marketing becomes a simple science when understood. Split testing is your way to concise knowledge. Which advertisement gets decent results? This is the problem at hand. Knowing by testing is the solution. If you think one advertisement can be improved upon, try a split test. Use another advertisement under the same conditions, as the one before the original and see which results are best. Some marketers constantly split test for the sake of finding improvements on their marketing process. You can split test almost anything, with in your marketing environment.

Split test one word of your title, if you like. Do it to your squeeze page form or anything you have control over. This is how you siphon and target. It’s split testing that increases your performances. It’s rudimental and fundamental to marketing. The next time you have a question about marketing and you can’t find the solution, this is what you should do. First submit a search on the topic. Then split test to see if the results work. If you think you’ve found the answer, then try it , but in comparison to other conditions you’ve already established. Which ever condition ends with the most favorable results wins. Here’s an example of split testing an advertisement for candy:
Sweet
Delicious Candy
Get It Now

You might have doubts about the line “Delicious Candy.” This is what you can do. Take the second line ”Delicious Candy” and put it on the first line, making the ad read as follows:
Delicious Candy
Get It Now
Sweet
Record the results of your new configuration compare them with the previous configuration. Obviously what ever ad shows the best results wins and you should go with that ad. Marketing successfully requires constant monitoring. Sp[lit testing can take as little time as an hour or less depending upon how much traffic is moving to your site. If you’re getting 50,000 clicks every three hours, it’s likely to make an intelligent decision in an hour. Upon your site getting ten clicks per day, split test s will take longer. It’s ok if you take a long time. The idea is to decipher what conditions are needed to get increased traffic and have it targeted to what every interest you have chosen. Use split testing for not only more traffic but also more targeted interest related prospects. Changing the wording on a split test is fundamental in creating more interested prospects. You never know, your original ad may be the best out of five test, but it’s smart to make sure.
